The 2007 Jean Louis Chave Cotes du Rhone Mon Coeur is a smooth blend of Grenache and Syrah. It has an excellent concentration and richness that displays nice red fruit and spice. The medium tannins give it a nice balance. This wine lies somewhere closer to the Pinot Noir spectrum, and is very drinkable now.
